What's worse is he finally upped and killed someone. Scott David Peoples, 24, was on the verge of signing a $1 million deal to ride overseas when he was struck and killed by an elderly driver in country Victoria.
Mr Peoples was on a training ride on the Mooroondah Highway at Merton when he was struck by a partially blind 70-year-old driver in 2006.
The family of the cyclist are quite rightly asking how was this man allowed to stay on the roads, especially given a few years earlier in 2003, he seriously injured ANOTHER cyclist along the same stretch of road, although was not charged over...

Queensland gun lobbyist Ron Owen has been ordered to pay three lesbians a total of $12,500 after a landmark decision handed down by the Queensland Anti-Discrimination Tribunal.
The tribunal found he had displayed a bumper sticker on a vehicle, published a report to the Cooloola Shire Council where he was a former councillor, made a comment in a television interview and published a letter on a website - all of which incited hatred, serious contempt for or severe ridicule of homosexuals.

ROVE McManus' trademark 'who would you turn gay for' question has provoked a sexuality storm around Kylie Minogue in the UK press.
In what could only be described as a pink stink, The Sun newspaper has accused Minogue of questioning her sexuality after she jokingly told McManus she would turn for bisexual screen goddess Tallulah Bankhead - who has been dead for 40 years.
